Uh oh, apixaban showed superiority to coumadin with less bleeding, so the data is better than what Xarelto has. It will take almost a year to talk a lot of these cardiologists into using Xarelto and then apixaban will come into the market with better data and take away any business that Xarelto has generated. Not a good situation.

God works in mysterious ways. I was the perfect candidate for the job, aced the interviews, etc. and then sat for 6 weeks trying to get a response from anyone before receiving my "thanks but no thanks" email. Now I'm happy to just stay where I am instead of getting into that shitstorm.

No, SA. Not any better here but at least I've got 10 years in and waiting for the next round of severance so that I can get out of this shitty industry.

Compared to Direct Thrombin inhibitors, factor Xa's are DOA. The FXa's gunk up people's livers so bad your Docs going to be afraid to use these drugs, and if they have any type of declining kidneys then FXa's aren't for them as well. Unless you try to hitch your wagon to an uncomplicated 20 year old, which is no where near the profile for this type of marketplace other than knee/hip, then stay clear of factor Xa inhibitors. Prada will dominate the marketplace once they get K/Hip replacement indication. Seriously, don;t jump into a stink pile.
