OK.. So I've been following the board about goals and attainability. It seems to be a bit of a pissing match so I'll take what I read and keep it as fair warning. What about salary? Base? What would be a lower and and upper end dollar? Commision? Thanks all!
Depends on at what level you are brought in. Salary can be anywhere from $40,000 - $80,000+ depending on experience. Most common level is "Account Consultant" which is $65-$75k. If you have substantial medical device experience you could possibly be brought in at an "Account Executive", but it is rare for people to be brought in at that level. Target commission to plan is $40k and is uncapped.
It's a fantastic job if you don't mind making only a base salary. The data in the BI system is flawed. You have no way of tracking your business. Trust me....go somewhere else (unless you don't mind not making any money.) People will be leaving here in droves shortly! Many people are interviewing and bailing out.
BI data NEVER remotely reflects what our actual numbers are so it's really kind of useless. I've been here over 10 years and still until this day.....can never figure out how our compensation works or how the numbers are calculated. We are held acccountable for our sales numbers...yet...nobody is accountable to us for providing that data. We just have to TRUST that it's right. Tracing issues, dealing with distributors..just a big mess. We are not a true device company the way we do business. And by the way....Chris Lowry is an asshole.
I have been working in the pain division for 3 months now...Im on contract with another company hoping I will get hired after a year...any thoughts on the process..also..what is the commission percentage at KC?
