Where is the phone number that Grand Master Scratch and the Fab....... 2 (sorry, I couldn't find anything to rhyme) used to get his thread off of here? Maybe we could use it to get rid of him. I'm sure Apria was devastated to lose him and would gladly take him back. Just a thought....

Just shut down the cpm division for cryin out loud! Don't blame and punish the employees for what past management has done. Do us all a favor and shut it down.
    What a shame.......

it won't be long, you can only lose so many employees, either they quit or let go, they won't come close to quota and will try more sale webinars, conference calls... they should have done this 3 years ago, and by now they would probally survive
you can't sell machines, thinking you will make up the shortfall, no repeat business as in rentals, plus $6000.00 for a litelift and $4000.00 for a 480, really?!!!

I.C.'s, sale agents, this is the only way they can save money, let the reps go, pay no salary, benefits and end up with people not knowing the products
but it;s all about bringing in what little revenue they can

Don't worry, Chuck will save us, he did close the BCBS/Care Centrix deal, didn't you know that? yea, he's telling everyone thats his baby
When in fact that deal was in the works for months before Chuck knew about it and KH found an article on line about it, she didn't even know, nice contracting
understanding is BCBS will make it a point for Care Centrix to use the providers BCBS were using for home set ups

If I remember right some of the big hitters have already or are coming up on their 1 year post-OB anniversary. Not that anyone would want to get back into this business anyway.

the number is....... hey what happened with all of the hubub about turning this division of the company around and why is it always on sales to try and save and fix? Where has been the commission and achievable quotas? I feel my job is threatened at this point and maybe someone should look at customer service with people yawning on the 800 number if they answer and it's the right department. Then having no idea which rep is in what territory or what product the customer is asking about. Oh, wait, I know what the solution is.....lets go back 5 years on our own billing mistakes and then send collections after patients that were not billed correctly to begin with. Doctors really appreciate that. I agree with whoever said the pricing is pathetic, at least we know pricing now compared to when it changed and certain cpm's were discontinued without our knowledge until we tried to place an order. The company needed change but what tech or junior college did BD crawl out of and what qualifies a ceo who changes a company collects a big paycheck, threatens everyone, fires a lot of people then quits when it doesn't work?? hmm. Best that everyone signs a 30 page non-compete. One more rep may bite the dust after this rant but I'm so sick of this. Funny part is, the non-compete is only for counties or cities that upper management thinks we are in, so dare I bring up black out areas? Ok, enough for now, but please someone update with inside info for those of us who only hear the ra ra feel good success stories and bs of upper management.

It won't be long, the manufacturing company in Wisconsin that will now make the cpms will be selling outright to anyone for a better price, no way will OB buy enough machines back for the field leaving the company no other choice but to sell on the open market. One company is already talking about a purchase of cpms and are negotiating a price within the year. Then the market will be flooded and OB will not compete with the pricing given to Hospitals or SNFs

That actually is a very good observation. We seasoned reps never sold cpms until it was a last resort. You'd have been stupid to sell units outright in your territory. Do a good enough job at it and you will be out of a job real quick - duh. So now, there is a company out there whose goal it is to sell 480's to every hospital you rent to. There is no non-compete clause etc. They will contact every hospital and show them the savings of owning their own devices vs. renting them from us. Selling the manufacturing arm was definitely a move made by a company that is not interested in us long-term.

I wasn't surprised at the commercial sale of machines to facilities, they need quick revenue
The sad part is CG is the biggest part of this, he is getting commissions on almost all commercial sales and selling out the reps from renting to facilities which brings in revenue each month, not just a one month sale, where you feel great getting the extra commission for one month and then realize you aren't getting the much needed revenue from rentals anymore. With bad management comes bad decisions, especially when you have no clue on how to run a business like OBOS has.
6 months at best for OBOS, Hans will not continue to pour money into them anymore, Minn has almost washed their hands of OBOS. They really don't want JF at their meetings cause he has no clue as to whats going on. They talk profits and he winces when he gives his report or input.
