is this the securestrap that keeps jamming...pathetic product and another failed attempt by ethicon to make a tacker. You should secure a strap on and take it in the butt like when this failure is recalled!! ethicon is a joke

oh yeah, this was posted by covidien rep which sells absorbatac, not sorbafix...typical ethicon rep, doesnt know competition (anatomy or how to sell either...ha ha ha ha)

Keep telling yourself that. You have no idea what you are talking about. Very few surgeons have used it at this point. Those who have are blown away. Wait until this thing launches, your most loyal, busiest guys will switch. Only those on the payroll are safe.

Your management teams know this thing is for real. There are a few small, inferior competitors out there. Cov and jnj are snooping around and will be buying soon.

Echo PS is horrible. The few times my doc used it, it failed and did not even inflate. We were laughing that it is like an expensive "kids meal toy". Surgeon said the rep in the room was so embarrassed and did not know what to say. Surgeon looked at rep and said echo PS...should be called echo BS. Novelty and will will fade as fast as your old Q rings did.

You are lying. No surgeon has used it more than once. If you had any idea how this thing works, you would know a monkey can get it to inflate.

Not lying...stop drinking the koolaid pal. Doc used it twice-it failed and so will you.A gimmick is a gimmick is a gimmick. You must be a new rep. Composix kugel was great too until we swept the floor with it when it failed. Just wait until our umbilical patch comes out...killer stuff that will make your silly little patch look like pasties on a strippers nips. Davol is a has been company. Check this post in 6 months and you will asking me for openings...na na na na hey hey hey gooodbye!!

when the case is over, the surgeon can take the balloon out and make animals with it like at the carnival...

Hey Mr Surgeon, I know you have no clue how to do lap surgery so I will provide you with training wheels...are you going to help him pull the trigger on your inferior tacker too?! hahahahaha!

Keep telling yourself you dont have to be worried. I wouldnt even bother talking to your current users if I were you.

Lets clear up one thing here, you did not "sweep the floor" with CK. It suffered 3 consecutive recalls, tons of bad press, lawsuits and a bunch of pissed off Dr's. However Tyco didnt even have Parietex at that point. As of now (5 yrs later), we still sell more Kugel products than all of the Parietex combined.

And regarding asking you for a job, our middle of the pack guys out earn your #1, so I doubt it.

And we are supposed to be afraid of your 6th to market (literally) umbilical patch?

Word on the street is half your sales force are out looking for new jobs. Cannot wait to pick off your business with all the soon to be open territories. Where is that Echo BS toy? By the time that comes out, you will have no reps to sell it.

Unfortunately, this is very true. Its a tough year for Davol; that's the reality of it. I hope things get better or I am going to be out there looking for a new job.
