I have been interviewing for a position at Polymedco even after reading all of the negative comments as I tried to make up my own mind without being negatively influenced. During my interview process, I was told and promised many things including the fact that the company direction was changing. Unfortunately, after speaking with current and former employees, I found out that what Polymedco is going through right now in terms of change is something they go through on almost a yearly basis. The owners seem to change their mind on how to approach the businesss on a regular basis and the reps seem to be the ones who take the brunt of the responsibility for bad management decisions. Even the current employees seemed to have to force themselves to be upbeat about the future. I felt like they were telling me one thing while they were really wanting to say, stay away? I have never been in such a strange situation. I also reviewed the past quotas, how they were developed and how well they were achieved. What I cam to understand was that the quotas are not based on previous sales (like most quotas are) but were based on what the owner felt were realistic and would justify the position. Not one person I spoke with could give me a confident answer on how achievable these quotas were and one Manager even stated that his personal Quota was 100% un-achievable.

I am only writing this today as a summary of my experience through this process and I am happy to report that I have taken myself out of consideration for any position at Polymedco. I don't know first hand if the reports on cafepharma about Polymedco are true but from what I saw and heard, it is very likely and at the very least, the company seems to be in very bad shape. If your products are so good and you offer great compensation, why are there only a handful of reps and why isn't there anyone who can give a positive report about the company?

P.S. I was also made aware that the company is about to be sold and that there will soon be significant competition against their automated system. Further cause for concern?

    Good Luck!!

polymedco has the same analysers as randox, which means that they both are terrible and neither has any sort of meaningful sales. unless you want to make next to no money and if you are interested in not working your career into a meaninful place then join either of those companys

It has been stated on here a million times. These people are not writing this stuff for fun or making it up. These posts are true. Someone about 3 years ago placed an entry that was dead on and honest as could be. The person was smart and new the business inside and out. They literally pulled the curtains back on the Wizard of Oz.

What I learned was they lied about everything in training and what they presented to doctors.

Bold face lie. What I did learn is that Polymedco is a re-distribution company. They claim to develop, manufacture and sell. They do none of it. They are a sham.

Go back and look at the history. They "reinvent" the organization weekly. I makes no sense at all. They have been telling the same stupid story for years. This company has ruined a lot of careers and put a lot of families at risk. They are a cruel sociopaths.

Hands down still the worst experience in my life and I have had some really really bad experiences. I would have given anything to kick the crazy drunk training lady out of my car in the middle of the freeway. In hind sight - I should have.

I was there for the first training session with the training person that had the fake smile and plastic eye. It was embarrassing. All of it: the tests, the computers, printer, software and training. I knew is was going to be bad when I had a roommate in a little tiny room. A complete stranger comes in a midnight. Hey. Creepy, I had to take so much Xanax to sleep I could barely see straight in the morning.

It was down hill from there. Horrible Horrible experience. They thought they were really give us a treat when they took us out for hamburgers during a blinding snow storm on Sunday night to build the team up.

The only thing the team wanted to do was get on the next plane out of Chi Town and forget it ever happened.

Phase 2-what was left of it came in later in the week. They were so confused and scared they could barely talk or look you in the eye.

Some one recently posted that things had really changed - Again? It was most likely placed from a new hire. That new hire, like most, was fired the first month as all employees are.

Go ahead and try it. If you are not completely spun-out in two weeks and fired in four please, post on here and give us your success story.

This dirt bag outfit has jobs posted on the Cafepharma jobs section. What a joke. People who read it and then go to this I clearly aware this is sham and an embarrassment to the industry.

They "claim" 125k in total comp. No one has ever made 125k at this side show, ever.

Everyone in the buisness knows that Polymedco and Randox for that matter are Mickey Mouse. Very unprofessional, they try and manage through lies and pressure, and on top of it all most of what they produce is terrible. Go back and do some searching, ask the people in the field that matter, you will find your answers there. If you want to work in this field work for a larger company with more history of accomplishment, stay away from both these places or you will just end up adding another worthless line on your resume.

I heard Jim G is back. What the hell is he thinking? He was a great rep, why would he have to come back here.
