Do I need to hire an attorney to figure out what this thing is saying?

I think a high school diploma is sufficient. My interpretation is that the company's investors invested again and in this climate that either means they have something interesting going on or in need money. My contacts tell me they had a good year so it can not be about the cash. Maybe our stock will be worth something. Irregardless the letter was not that hard to understand. I do have a degree.

Here is a summary as far as I know:

Every common stock holder has been diluted so that the company could raise another 1.2 million dollars. This also raises the threshold that the sale price for the company must hit before the common stock is worth anything.

I guess a cynic would argue that zero divided by a larger number is still zero and we haven't been diluted.

I heard that the money is going to be used to buy Iphones for the network doctors. What I am not sure is why the MC or the board/investors agreed to do this. Unless they plan to unveil a new 'app' for the business it seems like the money is therefore being used for operating expenses.

Does anybody know why they are spending that large sum of money on an Iphone conversion? Recruitment? Physician retention? A new app (I hope)? IMHO if they aren't wheeling out a new product associated with the hardware then the money is being used for operating expenses and their road to profitability is tougher then their 2009 EBITDA claims it to be.

$1,200,000 for three year old technology? They can't be that dumb. They must be using the money for something else. It would have been nice if they had put the reason for the funding in the letter so we wouldn't have to guess. Why the secrecy?

Ouch, so my stock just got diluted so they could buy iPhones? At a time when the industry is starting to shift away from closed systems in favor of web-based apps? Impact itself has been part of that shift. How long have they been using salesforce.com? This is a mistake. I wish I hadn't bought that stock. I want my 60 bucks back.

My guess is that the docs are clammoring for something more cutting edge to stay in the network. That being said, its unlikely that the brain trust has come up with a new product idea. Well maybe that HUGE offering that will track docs website hits will really put them over the top....sarc off

When is the board going to wake up and finally bring some people in who will make my stock (and theirs) worth more rather than less??????

havent you heard, they are rolling out iPhones to their panel of burned out physicians. This way they can provide worthless information via a cool new toy.

Drs. Habib, Patel, Jajoo and Abhay love their new iPhones

The implication being that only the Indian Drs. have figured out how to work their iPhones? That's terrible.

I think the implication is that only Indian docs are in the network!
