This company is so screwed. Lets sum up: E1 conversion disaster, No pay raise, backorders on most products, crappy incentitive comp plan(i.e. focus bucket), sales # reporting errors and now a product recall. What is next? I should have known what type of year we were in for when we went to that joke of a sales meeting last Oct in Orlando. Our management all the way around is pathetic.
applause and tip of the cap to Jerry Liebrand and Rob Claypoole the team that brought you the collapse of 2010 and the 2011 Strategic Plan including the comp strategy
Hey guys, I am sure this next year will be different. We just have to get moitvated and... Im sorry, I couldnt finish that with a straight face. We're screwed.
JL is out, probably going to retire. How long before LC gets whacked, anyone heard from her lately......? Now that's leadership! Just ask CB!
LC introduces the participants on the Duet call, and promptly ducks out of sight. Absolutely pathetic.
And then lies about what is going to happen with the return dollars when she is asked. I have no respect for this woman. She is just another womens inititive hire. She knows good and well that we will all be hit with huge credits and never gain it back right before the end of the year. She is the same pos that gave us no relief to the focus bucket and then encouraged some of her managers to fire reps who were not making that number. What a year! Worst by far of my tenure. I want to just close my eyes and be gone from this hell hole.
A lot of questions in my mind...namely, will they re-use the 'Innovation' tagline and collateral for the third year in a row? Also, how will they top the personalized water bottle as gratitude for sales efforts?
Lori only cares about building her resume and could care less about her people. She only promotes those she perceives will be her "puppets" and only cares about herself. Nice job Gershon, way to hire her on the way out the door. I hope Hason has more sense to see through her BS.
I am going to be sick for the national sales meeting. There is now way I can sit through another one.
This is just amazing- executives that seem to be guessing at everything. It is like "lets see if this works" instead to leadership with a level of experience and competence. I cannot believe how pervasive it is throughout all levels of management.
how many more reps would have hit and/or exceeded quota if there were no back orders? how many hard working reps lost money because of the back order? how many customers were/will be lost due to back orders?
