Doubt it. They are currently undergoing an expansion in the US that will double their current field sales force. This is not the characteristic game plan of company trying to sell itself. What do the reps and Regional Managers make annually?
They did the same expansion 6 months ago. Ask yourself and them why they would be doing it again? Do you feel comforable accepting a position where you could be let go in 6 months?
Let see, in the last 3 months: California rep gone, Texas rep gone, Michigan rep gone, Wisconsin rep gone, Kentucky rep gone, East Coast Mgr gone, Marketing Mgr in home office position eliminated so the Leonard is gone, replacement East Coast Manager gone... Now an urgent rush to clean up any outstanding accounts recievable and head of finance is in the states for the next several months when normally in Australia. They are pushing to clean up the bottom line and make an easy transition to another company. eliminating any loose ends. Its the best option for the company. The culture is beyond poor. Reps make from 40K to 90K base. Well, those with high bases have been eliminated. You won't hit 6 figures because you'll never be able to sell anything because finance will never approve any prices. You'll lose creditability with your potential customer when it takes you weeks or months to provide a price. The initial price may be fair but then add the stop charges, manifest charges and CPI and good old fuel levy which isn't even near the cost of fuel. Fuel levy is a total money maker for the company when fuel prices go up.
If they are not Ausie, Markasshole, i mean markass, I mean markus won't give them the tools they need.
I have been contacted about this position, just in the last week or two. Doesn't seem like a very exciting product, and the money was not worth it.
You won't make any commissions with Daniels, thats for sure. Can't make a commission when you can't provide price when you own finance dept doesn't know what to charge and won't provide a price.
