I am a device rep that covers the Seattle Wa hospitals, not with Applied. One of the staff members of a hospital told me a little about a lawsuit that took place between Applied Medical and a former sales rep. Some of the stuff I heard was downright comical. Sounds like someone exposed something, denied it in court but then admitted it. I was thinking maybe the rep was trying to pull a small trocar out of his pocket but confused it with, well you know. Let's hear it Applied people because this was some funny stuff
I am currently a DM for Applied, and no I am not on the company laptop, lol. The Rep in question has been promoted to DM for that region. The old DM ( a joke ) has too been promoted. I truly believe the promotions were all for a cover up. I do know that this whole legal mess was not very popular with upper management. I never heard about details of the case but do know that it was not handled correctly.
How does a promotion cover up anything?? How does rewarding a rep for effing up make things right?? If this is how Applied operates then its no wonder every post on here is negative. I can guarantee you if my actions drew my company into a legal situtaion my ass would be disposed of quickly!!!
