Pharma Vs Lab Sales

    Just curious...coming from Pharma....looking to go elsewhere...im still employed...but am seing this industry crashing..! so.. is Lab sales a step forward or back from PHARMA?

    not talking lab corp...or quest..lmao

    anyone heard of UNIPATH? whats their story? the good the bad the ugly? Figured the best way to get feedback about labs sales is from current lab employees.

    One of the nice things about lab sales is that for the most part, you don't have to deal with docs and their condescending asses. Nothing annoys me more than some MD who thinks he's too good to meet with a sales rep so he instructs his lardass nurse or office admin to tell you he's never available.
    That's what I don't mind about not calling on docs anymore. Plus, in lab sales, you're actually negotiating the price of a tangible product and if you like negotiating, it can be fun.

    I can't believe above poster that you wrote such an asinine post. We don't like to see your condescending big tushes because you lie about the product your selling. Trust is key and frankly most clinicians don't trust sales people.
