Associate Sales Rep position for distributor

I am currently being interviewed for an Associate Sales Rep position for a distributor. It is a 1099 position. How much would I expect to be paid for a position such as this? I have been working for a fortune 500 company for 8 years and have benefits (health, dental, car, gas, etc.) so I'm not straight out of college (don't know if this would matter). However, I only have 1 year of sales experience. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

 

Well, we have no information about your product or market or anything.

but, if you are good, you should be around 100k, if you have a decent product and a decent market.

if you stink, about 50k.
