Over the last couple of years, my income at Watson has been "fair to average" I would think.
But, when it is combined with my second full time job, my income level is over six figures, and I'm proud to say I have a respectable total income.
Since both company paychecks hit my checking account on the same day, the joy I experience is most gratifying! I then transfer a portion over to savings.

Thats okay buddy, what job are you doing now? I know whyI was fired and I know how my salary compared to other people in the same position. Compare that to the average length of time I was there to most people who were "let go" and it was longer than most.

My bonus check which I received after I was fired was enough to put a huge chunk down on a car and my ranking was in top 10% so yes I was a good rep. Of course, I am now making significantly more money and know what a real company looks like and how they treat people. The only thing Watson did was leave me feeling like crap every day. Kaz was a big part of that......so yes it is satisifying to think of him as a door to door to salesman that pharma reps are.

I left in 09 and have a $100K + bonus job in ortho devices. How's Lynn Amato - rep? Chris Knowles, Alethea, & Pete Shunning? My friend; Laura Riley?

Hey Newbie! You are a liar. It's pretty common knowledge that the medical device industry is structured on low base, high commissions. So, yes, it is very likely for good reps to make over 100K, but they are not doing it on base.
    .
Here's where you went stupid with your fable: You could have at least Googled "salary pay for orthopedic device sales rep". Then you too can view about 2 million hits that pretty much all say something like:
    .
"It varies depending on the specialty. In orthopedics, many reps are straight commission, 1099 independent contractors, and can make $150-400k when experienced and established. Trauma reps tend to have a base salary $50-75k plus commission, car, etc. make mid $100k. Cardiology related reps usually have higher bases $60-80k benefits car etc and make $150-400k. Some companies cap earnings, others don't. It varies widely."
    .
So fess up. You're really a floor salesman in Appliances at Sears, huh?
