Ranbaxy laboratories may hand over Latin American operations to Daiichi Sankyo

"Daiichi may be better placed to lead the business from the front for both the companies (in these countries)," Ranbaxy chief executive officer Arun Sawhney told analysts in a conference call on Friday. "The evaluation of the plan is under way." Ranbaxy has operations in 11 countries in the region, including Brazil and Mexico.

Valuable parts of this company are being stolen by Japan masters, and no one is doing any resistant efforts. Arun Sawhney is the puppet of Daiichi Sankyo. Daiichi Sankyo is buying all operations in high value emerging markets and leaving the scraps and troubled business to Ranbaxy. one of us must have guts to stand up publicly and say NO.

Wow, I'm glad someone finally posted something about this. Daiichi has been violating minority shareholder rights for the past year, and no one in management says boo.
