    What is the vacation policy at Otsuka?

    First two years with company you get 20 days ( one month) plus 9 national holidays. If you are hired after February of your first year it gets prorated ( the number of vacation days). At the start of year three it goes up to 24 days. Compared to many other pharma and CSO's it is very very good. I know this because I know somebody who just took a job with them.

    Sorry... a mistake, checked the vacation policy. 20 days in year one if you are hired in Jan or Feb, if not its prorated down after that. At year 2 its 24 days. Year 3 26 which goes thru year 5. Not sure after that but I think it goes up to 29 ( years 6-9) then 30 days at year ten.

    Does this include sick days? Or 20 days just vacation?

    That's the issue I have. We get no sick days. it's just one lump sum. Therefore, I think it should be a few more days.

    It's PTO (paid time off)...use as sick days or vacation at your discretion.

    Do you get the time off between Christmas and New Years?

    Not unless you take vacation. There is no "company shutdown" week.
