Does anyone from Biovail post here? It seems you are all very quiet and just take it up the arse! You should be venting your frustration and letting the world know what Mike Pearson is doing. Educate society on his evil deeds and make sure there is a transparent wrapper around him so everyone can see for themselves what is truly is like. Those of us who have been extremely hurt by Mike Pearson know full well what he is like, that he is a pig, jackass, bastard, lying boy scout, who doesn't care about anything but stockholder value. Mike Pearson lies on the web site of Valeant telling people he is into Hep-C treatments...he discontinued that line of therapy and support 3 years ago. This is one of the first things he cut when he came to Valeant in 2008. Why isn't the SEC and FDA on to him for this? Why is the stock price predicated upon him lying about the pipeline (there is no pipeline by the way) of Valeant?

It isn't all Mike, Director Bob is the guy pulling the strings, Pearson is just the puppet. This deal did nothing for Biovail, except put everyone out of a job.
All companies bought by Valeant love him as well. We love him long time. He is a dirty rat bastard and should rot in hell. The only lucky ones to escape his little rat claws was cephalon.
The thing I want to know is how does Valeant stay in business when Mike Pearson buys these companies, say with 2,000 employees, and each of these employees is already extremely busy. Then he lays off those 2,000 employees. Who's doing the work. Compound this with the 18 or so companies he has bought in the last 3.5 years and it makes you wonder how compliance is being done. Or if it is even being done? How do the multiple companies' work load get done when all these people are being fired by Mike Pearson? I don't understand it. If someone knows the answer, please let me know. Mike Pearson certainly cannot outsource everything, can he? Who's doing the monitoring. What is the FDA doing to ensure that the standards are being maintained?
The one and only reason Mike Pearson bowed out so "gracefully" on the Cephalon deal was that during due-diligence, it was found that ValueAct owned major shares of stock in Cephalon and that's a no-no with the SEC. Mike Pearson got caught with his pants down and got a butt spank on that one. Mike Pearson pushed it off as not wanting to get into a bidding war, but that never stopped him before. One of these days, Mike Pearson is going to really mess up and hopefully he goes to jail!

Actually you couldn't be more wrong. What is happening is that Mike Pearson is following compliance guidelines and work isn't being reported properly or accurately. If he retained the wonderful, hard-working employees such as myself, this would not be an issue. Believe me, there will be a day soon, when the people who are keeping book on Mike Pearson finally have enough evidence to take him and Valeant down. That day couldn't come soon enough for me. Smoke and mirrors is all that is left of Valeant Pharmaceuticals.
Pearson is a genius, buys up fat over bloated cash cow pharma companys, sells off/ lays off the fat, takes the money. Look at the history of his stock price. I'm waiting for him to get size, so he can buy a BMS or mid-size and do same.

agreed...they really need to look CLOSELY at his activities...he just bought a real DOG (Eyetech Inc)...they sold him a bill of goods and he was too stupid to do due diligence...Macugen?...come on! They Eyetech people were happy but such a baaaaad decision.
