I have never heard so many reps whinning about wanting to be given a date to be let go. It will happen so enough, once the deal is signed. NO ONE KNOWS THAT DATE, until the deal is signed. It will come soon enough, start looking for another job. Meanwhile your still getting paid, do your job and stop whinning!

Takeda press release on April 11 said "Pending the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, the deal is expected to close within 60 days."

Takeda Reps did home study on Colcrys last week

Takeda Reps going to training on June 4th on Colcrys

URL 200force reps began in field one year ago on June 1, 2011

Quintiles contract is with URL. When the acquisition is finalized (estimate: June 11) then the contract would be over

The phrase "integration" has been used in conjunction with Quintiles and Colcrys, but there is nothing in print to reflect any plans.

Quintiles has somewhat communicated the Reps would be paid until August if contract is not extended, renewed, etc.... Maybe speculation, So..................Business as usual!

Doctors are asking me what am I going to do when I lose Colcrys. Sad thing is I don't have an answer. I tell them I learned about the buyout from Google. I'm asked what is your company telling you about your job and my answer is "business as usual". I get the WTF? look.

We cant be selling Colcrys on June 11th when Takeda is in the field selling Colcrys

The day Takeda owns Colcrys then every sell we make goes to Takeda!!!!!!!!!!!

Quintiles signs our checks and unless there is a contract in place with Takeda we won't get a dime for a single RX.

Ask your Takeda rep to share with you the email with the date they will begin selling!

Me too! I face the WTF Face all the time now, especially at luncheons when the docs have lots of time to ask questions. They look at me like I am an idiot for working and not spending my time looking for a job. The change from unapproved to a branded whopper price tag of $4.85/pill put me in a position similar to Bruce Lee getting ready to do his kung fu defense. Now this change has caused my recently calmed down doctors to tell me they are not going to use Colcrys because they remember all the hell the offices put me through just walking in the door with my bag of corporate BS coupons and vouchers. "Doctor, in 2006, the FDA issued an Unapproved Drug Initiative...Doctor! Please don't throw that chair at me and please don't use that language toward me... My goodness Doctor, it won't fit up my ass, why are you telling me to shove those vouchers up my ass?....doctor...doctor...stop screaming at me..." Now those doctors have become close friends, the ones who realized we are just the idiot puppets trying to feed our families. Those doctors have told me they are never going to write the drug again. For the first time in my career, I agree, change is good. Glad to get the f&ck out of this contract. URL and Rich, Hell is waiting baby!

Hilarious! Sad but true! Unfortunately those docs will still write because it works. I hope PAR wins in court.
