I INTERVIEWED WITH THEM AND THEY HAVE A GOOD SMALL COMPANY FEEL. i INTERVIEWED FOR A CLINICAL SPECIALIST POSITION AND WAS TOLD TO EXPECT AROUND 80000-85000 IN PAY, LOTS OF TRAVEL AND NO MICROMANAGEMENT. CAN ANYONE LET ME KNOW WHAT THEY KNOW ABOUT THE COMPANY? IS THE PAD PRODUCT A WINNING PRODUCT? DO THE CLINICAL SPECIALIST MAKE GOOD MONEY?
Recuriter just called me about an opportunity....seems like pretty small potatos but worth learning more about...any new info?
there are other threads on this company in this forum. sounds like a bad job with an immoral company.
FYI, Biomedix PADnet machines do non-reimbursable exams according to the AMA. They use oscillometric technology instead of doppler or photoplethysmography. Ask any registered vascular technologist (RVT) about this company. RVTs hate this company because their equipment is inaccurate and they're encouraging PCPs and podiatrists to do full segmental arterial exams. They continue to sell their POS systems even though their customers are billing fraudulently. The 2011 billing regulations (LCD) have killed this company. Good riddance.
Where have I read this before... Oh that's right. On every other Biomedix thread. Get a god damn life.
Ummm... Biomedix sales reps are knowingly selling a product that has already made thousands of physicians vulnerable for audited for committing Medicare fraud. If you are one of those reps, or someone who willingly works with this POS company, then your advice is ironic. Biomedix is not telling their install base about the new national regulations. Their whole customer base is getting reimbursed for non-billable studies and they are doing nothing. That is gross.
