I have a very good friend that works for Takeda as a primary care rep. He told me last night that they will not promote Colcrys until next month. I have a very sick feeling that we are going to stick this contract out for another thirty or sixty day to avoid the so-called payout that every manager told us.

 

It would make sense that we co-promoted for a short period, our Doctors are not excited about the gout market being dominated. If Takeda "used" us for a month or two then wouldn't Takeda have to sign a contract with Quintiles? Everyone just be careful and remember the Takeda reps are threatened by us. They are scared their jobs are in jeopardy due to the loss of Actos and Alogliptin not getting FDA stamp. The are anticipating another RIF and when it comes to $ we know how ugly it can get.

 

Speculation? The day Takeda owns Colcrys is the day the contract with URL would be over?

 

Yes, Takeda would have to sign a new contract if we sold THEIR product.
