Merit to buy US Endoscopy

I have heard Merit entertained buying US Endoscopy...Any word if this will come to reality?

US Endo is a cash cow.
Merit won't cough up enough.
that's the story.

 

or is it that US Endo wishes they were a real cash cow like Byrne and have tried in vain to shop themselves around at a similar valuation but nobody is buying that crap?
