will reps really co-promote with Takeda? will Quintiles place all of the displaced reps they have right now? Where is the business?

We have impressive statistics for resumes and portfolios! Spend your time printing out those stats before PCs are sent back! You may think that you have 5 months off, yet you will wish that you saved that money when the time is up and there is no check coming in! It is all about timing right now! Help each other out and network! Look outside of the box, and stay in good standing with Quintiles. Speculation? I don't think that Takeda will roll many over since the reps just figured out how much $ they will make with Colcrys. If you want to work with 2 or 3 other "Colcrys" reps who are just learning about Uric Acid then good luck. Remember everyone, we are good reps! Don't sell yourself short!!!!1
I had applied for a Takeda position right after hearing about the acquisition, had the phone screen and finally heard back for a f2f interview last week. The recruiter said that we (previous Colcrys reps) would be treated just like any other external candidate. I've heard good and bad about Takeda, I guess I would really weigh your options before taking the job. Novo and Amgen are both going through expansions. Novo would probably take a look at you if you have good numbers and a lot of pharma exp, Amgen more if you have B2B and less pharma experience.
Takeda sucks. A job is a job but no career. I would rather test my fate with quintiles. Takeda will have to lay off when Actos goes generic. The last guy to the party will be asked to leave. If we are honest Colcrys will probably lose in court eventually. Sooner than later. Sucampo is gonna continue to fight for Amitiza. They giving the farm away for Dex to stay on formularies. Then you have Edarbi and Uloric. Diovan goes generic before the end of the year so Edarbi script will be a sympathy script at best. Uloric well you know.
