Considering a career here. I'm sure there are a lot of disgruntled people after Dec layoffs, but just want a feel for this versus pharma. Don't care about working hard, I'm supposed to do that, I just want to know more about the company. Thanks.

Great company to work for. Excellent benefits, European mindset, huge on internal promotion and movement. Vaccines is very different than pharma. Pediatric business unit is well established and has solid foundation and an excellent pipeline. The launch of Beyfortus will be HUGE for Ped Vaccine reps. The Adult business unit is new and experiencing a lot of growing pains. Hugely inflated quotas, very poor DSMs, extreme push for extra sales outside of historic sales season impacting customer relationships, just a lot going on that is not serving anyone well. Seems like more changes are in the works for product and territory alignments across the ped and adult division. Ped division will be likely very lucrative this year and next year as Beyfortus rolls out. Vaccine positions typically pay less than speciality or normal pharma but it is easier to get in without experience. It is a buy and bill world so be prepared to discuss pricing, contracting, shipping, and reimbursement. You are more of an account manager than sales. Assisting customers with logistics, insurance coverage, planning, unused vaccine returns, and pre booking for next season. If youre fortunate to be in a universal state for pediatrics, run to the pediatric vaccine sales jobs. Everything is free for under 18s in universal states when it comes to vaccines so there are no price or reimbursement objections to deal with. Sanofi is an excellent company so if you don’t have much experience vaccines is a great place to start.
