...that think that we may have a chance to roll over to BMS, can't we?

If we were 1650 instead of 650 then I'd say no way, but since we're 650 I'd say we have a chance. That would take care of maybe a potential expansion that might be on the horizon for BMS.

That expansion is with AZ. Good luck.

We are really only 300ish. Contract force is done IMO

Possibly, but they've been at it just about as long a legacy. If they want to compete and pass Novo they'll need all the people they can to match Novo's sales force.

You all are arrogant. These days are about bottom lines and news flash- the contract reps work for less than you all do. We are trained on the products and all have experience. I know you all think you are the prized pig, but those are sometimes the first ones to go....For the record, I'm not stupid enough to think I am safe, but to rule contract out right away is only making yourself feel better...

    The numbers speak for themselves.
Symlin tanked once the CSO stepped in as lead.
Bydureon Legacy targets RX more than Synergy targets.

The point is that week of training and a few months of experience does not you a "prized pig".

It's sad to see how the attacks between Legacy and Synergy Reps are already starting. The Top 40 ranked writers are shared in most districts, so who is to say whether the Legacy or Synergy Reps are driving the business. With BMS & AZ co-promoting these products, the reality is the only Amylin reps retained will be in areas where vacancies are available for these two companies. Instead of worrying about who is driving the business, worry about your future and is there a vacancy in your area by the two companies buying us. If not be getting Plan B together by the end of Q3. Good luck to all

Quit being so dramatic. I would hate to see how many people on this board deal with change and crisis in their life. Everyone should take a deep breath, hope to get more info soon, start thinking about their next move and be thankful that the buyout of their company is their biggest worry. You all obtained your jobs for a reason, you will land another. Man up and keep perspective.

First and foremost this isnt my company. I'm a hired gun and I know my role. This coming from a contract perspective. No doubt another job will land. Been through quite a few crisis and change in my life, and this is yet another and it will happen quickly. How's that for perspective...

    THIS

Your special relationship with your manager, your winning smile - all that won't mean shit. It will be only about where they have a need and if they feel that Amylin or contract rep can fill the hole. The upside is that they probably have more need, with more drugs they will have smaller territories per rep, so they may actually need a few of you. A FEW.

Me? I work in R&D. I know the score. I'm working on some things that are critical. Which means that they will keep me long enough to transition to BMS, then sayonara.

Just don't confuse positive thinking with delusion. Except for potentially a small number of reps where they have vacancies, the people in Ohio, and a very small number of scientists, our gooses are cooked.
