Lincare

Joke! Beware of Lincare. If you have a family member with any equipment with this company send it back now! You will be getting a pulse oximeter and they hope you qualify so they can put you on oxygen for $125 a month! I have seen everything reused and delievered to the next patient. I'm talking about cpap machines included! Nasty ass company with nasty offices. Do not ever work for them because you will be miserable and under paid! They don't tell you that doctors don't like filling out the cmns and faxing back therefore you won't get paid until the paperwork is sent in and filled out correctly! Mdinr is a joke too. Therapists must open the boxes with gloves on because those are reused also! I have seen blood on monitors that were picked up and wiped off then sent back to new patients! Gross and unprofessional but they try to act like they are top dawgs. You are required ton feed doctors 3 times a week and they don't get in a hurry to reimburse you. Run for the hills people!

 

i wish i would have known to read this b4 i took a sales reps job with them. everything b4 is so true. you get fussed out and bitched out every monday for your numbers even though you are bringing in more business then then they had in the previous 12 months. management never has any positive reinforement. they are always so mean and negative. i hate working for this company and can't wait to find a new job. the expense reports are a joke, i have been canceling lunches and stuff b/c if they can't pay me why should i support them i am not a f..king bank, they have more $$ then i do.

 

Sorry to hear you fell for their BS. my area manager told me I had to make a "lateral move" or go on a plan after a year of more O2 referrals than the last 4 rep's together! (BTW there were 4 rep's in 2 years at this location. I did not find that out until after I was hired.) I took it since the job market was tough and when I found something else I emailed him at 11:00 in the morning and told him that I quit and walked out the door. The mom and pop I work for now is great. My salary is twice as much and my bonuses are unbelievable. The old A.M. went to american home patient and was fired after a 9 or 10 months. I found that funny because he treated everyone else like shit. The day he was coming to visit me, he asked me what was wrong when he came in. I said I did not sleep last night because I figured you were firing me today. He said why would you say that I said well you had me cancel all my appointments. He started laughing and went in the back to get coffee. Let me tell you he was a class act and the RM was a small pip squeek looking fag. If I did run into him out in the field I am not sure how I would react. I used to want to rip his head off, but now I would just like to say: hey dickhead thanks for the training. You helped me get my current position and I know I make more money than you do. I can not be happier so hang in there and keep your eyes and ears open.... Oh ya keep the training manuals and DOCUMENT everything that goes on they are going to get sued real soon.

 

I tell you exactly what its like to be a sales rep for Lincare. Ive been there for years and when I started doing sales it was great. Your base salary is low but you were able to double it with commission....until they decided they werent going to pay your commissions on certain insurances. They have took away so much of my commission I make a customer service rep pay and cant afford to pay my bills. You use your own car. Your gas and expenses come out of your pocket up front and you get reimbursed at the leisure of Lincare.
