Now that the "deal" will be complete in 30 to 40 days, according to the retention contract....we should have the money outright a month after. How many people think this will actually happen?
It's funny how the slide beck said 30 days after control is taken over, but the contract doesn't say that. Will a lawyer think that is misleading information since we had a conference call for that slide deck...... OH Amylin you did ride the short bus and you do wear a helmet to protect your soft shell.
Check with your managers since I recall that it is the letter we signed that is binding and not the slide deck. In other words, an acquisition in and of itself does not pull the trigger unless your position is eliminated to to the acquisiton. Must work through December of 2012!
Ok, I hear what you are saying, Why would the slides misrepresent the written contract? What would Robert Shapiro say about that?
I hear ya but the letter is a legal document and the slids are just slides. Not much we can do but stay through December, or is it June to keep it all????
The retention bonus will be paid out the first pay period in Jan. If you chose to leave prior to June 2013 you will have to pay have of the $15k back. A slide deck is NOT a legal document. I took my letter to an atty and this is what he explained to me. The only way it would be paid out 30 days after the buy out is if the new company chose not to keep the sales force, which is not the case with BMS.
Ok get the fuck back to work... you got the info you needed on the conf call no excuse to complain while not selling anything you want your 15K well your sorry asses will get it in Jan. GET OVER IT
