    Whats the business climate here Burn and Turn? Are they able to compete with other established labs...lab corp...quest...what not? How can you do more research on Lab companies besides....cafepharma...?

    It seems that most laboratory companies especially the small ones give you three month's to produce and then can you. The worst are the regional labs that claim to be national or feel like they should be. They hire reps in areas outside their "Zone" and then blame the rep for not being able to compete nationally. Actually Sonic HealthCare seems to own all the Labs that churn and Burn. The Quest, LabCorp, Clarient folks seem to be more patient.

    The small private labs I hear vary in attitude.

    Its intresting that Labs pay low bases and have no patience, whereas Capital Equipment companies have high bases and will give you a year, put you on a six month improvement plan and then let you go with severence!

    The worst in the medical business are the surgical companies...They may fire you because you inhale when you should exhale!!

    I know this is a small company... bu what is there managed care/insurance coverage? If they want to be competitors they must compete in this market. I am very experienced and considering the challenge... what does this AP2's future plans look like?

    It really depends on what territory you would cover. I would assume that they are a major player in CO, probably not so much in other states.

    That's what all smaller labs say and want. How do you compete with LabCorp and Quest? What is so unique about AP2's testing or technology? Nothing.

    HEY! At Least quest and labcorp are "real" corporations!!! That have "real" managers and a reputation, not a fly by night full of shit company that has not background or reputation to go by and for that matter be able to sell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This is just another small AP lab trying started by fugitives of acquired labs from 10 years ago. Nothing special, most of the service offering is now a commodity in AP. Spotty managed care coverage makes it a regional player in reality, even though they advertise as national.

    Actually, the Denver branch Unipath only gets business because they provide the Medical Directors and pathologists for many hospitals in Denver but are pretty much shut out anywhere else. Here's the other thing they send out the esoteric testing to Genzyme/LCA, Quest and other labs.

    Hey there is a Lab in NY that has tried the samething. They even opened a "dummy" lab under a different name here in NJ.

    I hear they are dying because of the new laws.
