Novartis chief sees sales dip until mid-2013 (October 7, 2012) in Medications. Sales of competing generic equivalents to the Novartis drug already caused a $2-billion loss of revenue. The Basel-based company already cut 2,000 positions in late 2011, mainly in Switzerland and the US, and announced in January 2012 it was further downsizing its American operation by shedding another 1,630 positions.

The fall in sales of the company's best-selling drug was "significant" in the United States. Company must adapt and adjust.

    Good Luck folks!

Sad but true. No strategy, poor leadership, and zero resources equates to the underlings getting fired. Perhaps fat ass will reward market access for not doing their job. Similar to how she approved incentive relief for all the deadbeat reps.

Creating spreadsheets, roles plays and field days with reps are not productive ways to gain coverage. Genoptix does not have slightest idea of how to run with the big boys.

    Lindsay,

Please ask marketing to work up some new roleplays for the next NSM. I would like to see one on interviewing; how I can spin going from a top performance ranking to a lower one; what to say when asked why I stayed with the company way past its prime; etc.

    Thanks

    SS

I'm all about calling a spade a spade when it comes to incompetence in the workplace. To post what someone is doing in their personal time that isn't work related makes you an obsessed psycho stalker with a serious ax to grind. Wow!

For the record I'm not LH or one of her yes men. I am part of the majority who think all of management and market access should be fired and that Genoptix is toxic.

Not the original poster here, but I’m very familiar with the current Genoptix culture and if there ever were a reasonable substitute of anger and advocacy for compliance and complacency … then this would be the place.
