I feel like everything about the buyout has been hush hush. Curious as to what you thoughts are. Who will buy us, J&J, Biogen, or a small little biotech company?
Biogen wins either way. They have the right to first refusal. So whoever buys Elan, the next day 100% of Tysabri then belongs to them. Sad. I have many friends at Élan. At least they are providing a decent package for those displaced.
Please investigate this company going back to the 2002 stock fiasco drop. Look into the Athena Diagnostic spin off and all the money that divisions CEO made shorting Elan stock. I think he owns part of a hedge fund as well. Is there a trend here?
