Soylent Green is people, just as MSC is AIMS. Jim Rogers involved in both.

No matter what Medical Sales College (MSC) says about distancing themselves from AIMS, MSC is still AIMS. Jim Rogers is their common denominator.

Re: AIMS Medical Device Training program Log In to Report Post

Actually, there are several former students that are eligible for refunds that are getting together to file legal action against AIMS to get the refunds that we are entitled to plus punitive damages. If there is enough interest posted on this board, I will post contact information for the attorney handling the case. I really wish it had not come to this, but AIMS is forcing the issue.

Re: AIMS Medical Device Training program Log In to Report Post

It is not a reputable program. They changed their name to Medical Sales College and are screwing lots of students out of refunds owed to them by a contractual agreement. They will take anyone who has a pulse. If you are female you will have any one of the male trainers, CEO and President of recruiting sexually harassing you. Many of these players are married and frequently screw around on their wives or ruined their marriage having sex with students. Spend your money on an accredited program. These scum bags were required to get a license by the state, they are not accredited. If their lips are moving, they are lying.

Re: AIMS Medical Device Training program Log In to Report Post

I graduated from this school last year. Out of 7 students in my class, 2 were placed by AIMS. The school is good, but the placement program needs a lot of work. They have had 4 different people in charge of placement since I graduated. If you attend AIMS, do not limit your job search to medical device sales. They will penalize you $2K to find your own job, but you are your own best advocate. Don't quit your existing job to go to AIMS, and don't assume they will place you in medical device sales.

All from 2010, all in a matter of three days!

Where are all the lawsuits? This was obviously a disgruntled somebody probably still the SAME person today.

MSC has been flawless since inception. If people really had any beef, you would see it!

People go to the Medical Sales College to become educated and desirable! My guess is looking at the following...it works!

So where is your fact that the school doesn't work???

Why is it that students, graduates, employers or MSC people even waste time responding. The college has placed over 500 people it's not like it's worked for one or two. They have hundreds of supporters, testimonials, employer testimonials and more. This idiot has nothing. He quotes articles unrelated from 2009, a ripoff report that has went on for almost six months with only this idiot responding. If MSC had any problems you would hear about it on LEGIT sites like education departments, AG offices, BBB or any other area that has real legitimacy.

Although this site is fun to read, the accuracy is about equivalent to a hand gun from a mile away.

Although I haven't attend MSC I do believe it has a place. If it wasn't great, nobody would be talking about it.

This obvious EliteMed-MSC advertisement was written by someone who owns the business or works there. The fact that he or she wants us to believe otherwise, by writing in the third person, clearly says MSC is a scam. No legitimate school's administrator behaves this way. Also, it is clear MSC's endless spam postings were designed to camouflage the thousands of negative entires about them.

I see MSC grads at a disadvantage compared to other applicants. Buying into the profession may have worked when the school was new, but now the quality of their grads have gone down significantly.

When you make statements like this it only ruins your credibility. It also becomes evident that you have a hidden agenda.

To make a statement that the school puts you at a disadvantage is ridiculous, making another statement that the quality of the grads is going down is another example of your motives.

How would you possibly know the quality of their grads? Did you as a person some how interview them all? You're a joke!

Besides, look at their Facebook page. Everyday people are getting placed. Seems to me like their momentum continues to rise.

    However, nice try!

Does Medical Sales College Sound Like a Predatory School Scam? YES!!!

Does Medical Sales College Sound Like a Predatory School Scam?

Predatory School Scams Exist to Exploit our Desire to Learn
Higher education, whether it’s career or technical colleges, trade schools, online colleges, etc, has long been the path of success for many Americans. Unfortunately, there are educational institutions and online schools that are willing to exploit this. While most for-profit schools provide valuable, meaningful education, some are established to do one thing – make money. These predatory institutions exist to exploit our desire to learn and better ourselves and these predatory institutions do a great job of convincing us to pay large sums of money for what often ends up being a misrepresented, inferior education.

Common Fraudulent Practices of Fraudulent Education Institutions
Some common ways for-profit schools manipulate and defraud victims are:
    Inflating job placement statistics
Fraudulent or misleading financial aid practices
    False claims of accreditation
False claims of credit and course transferability
    Misrepresenting the actual costs
False claims about probably salary upon graduation
Overall misrepresentation of the quality and value of the education provided

Keep in mind; these are just a few of the most common types of fraud. These schools and their commissioned sales people will often say or do whatever it takes to get their hands on your hard-earned money – even if that means damaging your financial future. If you have found yourself a victim of this type of fraud an experienced education fraud attorney can help. Many students do not even know they are being victimized until it is too late.

    Online College Scam Lawyers
The number of online colleges that are scams is sky rocketing month over month. Fortunately, there are some warning signs that can alert you to the fact that an online school may not be all it claims to be. Some online schools will blatantly sell fake degrees, while others trick students into thinking that the degree offered is legitimate when really it is useless. You can learn how to recognize the signs of online college scams, and make sure that you choose an accredited school for your online studies. The number one thing to look for in an online college is whether it is accredited by an official nationally recognized accrediting agency. The U.S. Department of Education has an online database that you can check to see if the schools you are looking at are accredited. If an online school offers extremely low prices, a flat rate for the entire degree, or negotiable rates, you may want to think twice before you sign on the dotted line.

Today, more students than ever are choosing to take college courses online. There are many benefits to distance education and learning at home. Studying at home can save you a great deal of time and money. However, it is important to thoroughly research online courses and schools so that you do not end up paying your hard-earned money for a fake degree or a scam course. Lawsuits have been filed against some of the well known colleges online and cases of this type are on the increase. An education scam attorney can help recoup losses if you have fallen victim to this predatory fraudulent practice.

Deliberate & Illegal Actions to Make a Profit
Misrepresentations and omissions concerning tuition costs, accreditation status, transferability of credits, job placement opportunities, salary expectations, and the role and qualifications of admissions representatives are serious offenses which are deliberate actions to make a profit from education seeking victims.

I've done a lot of research on this and a few more medical sales training companies.

The Medical Sales College is the only one that offers referrals, pictures, hiring companies and is the only licensed college. Very high placement rate!!

I really like all the pictures of the more than 200 recent placements.

Online School Scam Lawyer Explains Tactics Used by "College" Recruiters

    Understating Costs
Watch out for college recruiters who misrepresent how much it costs to go to the college that they work for. It's common for them to understate how much that you'll end up paying at the end of your education. For example, they could say that it only costs $5,000 to get your certification in a given field while leaving out the fact that you'll need to take many prerequisite courses to even get into that program. Once you're on the hook and hopeful about taking the program they told you about, it's very easy to overlook how much it's going to cost you to even get into that program.

    Overstating Job Placement Figures
Unfortunately, it is sometimes easy to determine whether or not a college recruiter is overstating their job placement figures, but most students don't think to do the work of finding this out. Here's an example. If you meet a college recruiter who says that they can get you a job at a given company, don't take their word for it. Call the human resources department at that company and ask them if they take people with degrees from that college. If they say that they don't, something is obviously fishy.

    Financial Aid Fraud
Do you know how much financial aid a college wants you to take? It depends upon the college. A good university with ethical counselors will try to help you minimize your debt. An unscrupulous university will try to get you to take as much financial aid as you possibly can. They may even encourage you to lie on your applications. If a counselor recommends that you say something that is completely untrue or that is only true if you look at it in a very convoluted fashion on one of your financial aid applications, just walk away. It's more trouble than you want to deal with and all they're trying to do is get money for themselves and they don't care if that creates financial hardship for you.

Online education can be great, but be wary. Talk to an online school scam lawyer if you believe that you have been the victim of one of these tactics.

Great post above! Also, watch out for the term "accreditation." Many "colleges" claim to be accreditated by XYZ and it might mean absolutely nothing when you're said and done for whatever job you might be looking towards in the future. Teaching requires a certain body of accreditation as do many other professions. Look to the jobs themselves to see what is really required; call the HR department and speak with someone live about your career path and the requirements. I too have never seen ANY employer require or request the Medical Sales College Certification unless the posting comes right from their website. This goes for the other scam out there to become a Registered Medical Sales Representative.
