    Good!!!
This company has too many Europeans, e.g. Rolf. and Max who have no idea about buisness conditions in the US. Just remember, Obama, SUCKS!

Chances are some of the layoffs in Zug included Americans.
Zug is a nirvana destination for TO-Americans: all paid all inclusive assignments and most Americans head back to TO crying about losing free schooling, free healthcare, free housing, etc. So do not diss the Europeans.

There were also Americans with families who were "locals" (no connection to TO, not expats) who were laid off. They never had free housing, no special treatment, etc. Think about them this holiday season.

Please add that systematically non-Swiss got free schooling at the tune of 20-30k a year per child and that would have included American citizens.
Zug has been a shameful expense center with useless overhead for the most part.
The worst part for the laid off in November 2012 is to go from extremely disconnected with the market in terms of compensation packages at Amgen Zug to suddenly a market in crisis where most benefits in kind have been clawed back. Some of the laid off have been at Amgen for more than 10 years. Imagine the shock.
