California is always going to be a little bit higher. Every thing is in CA. I've seen it at well below 10 dollars for 30 pills.

But even at 12 dollars for 30 pills a person would be paying 40 cents per pill which they could split in half (20 cents per pill) or thirds (13 cents per pill). Intermezzo will cost AT LEAST 3 dollars per day. Some people will buy it, but not many. Most people aren't that rich.... or that stupid.

 

Then don't take the job dipshit. Welcome to the real world . As reps now we can't look at what's a blockbuster, we're forced now to look at patent life and the possibility to sell enough of something that allows us to keep a job

The product is a joke, Ambien is generic, the contract won't last. Why would you waste your time? Why would you miss better opportunities?

 

That is why Ambien CR does over 900 million a year with generic Ambien out. I would love to hear what you think is a better opportunity in Pharma right now. My guess is you are someone that didn't make the cut and is praying someone will dropout so you can have another shot. I am very happy with my offer and can't wait to get started.

There really are other jobs out here. I left in July 2012. I have been at my new career for over 5 months. I can't believe I wasted 12 years of my life putting up with the idiots that manage pharma. It's pretty amazing to see how real companies are run...they're not all perfect. I guess I got a little lucky with the new career I found. Great manager, great coworkers...and best of all....I haven't heard the worn out phrase," well, at least you have a job". Because, that is all you have (for a little while), when you're in pharma. A job--not a career.
