At truth that this company is winding down operations? A long term customer is being told that many of their most popular Implants are "on backorder." Some docs thinking its end of this company. Why are they having supply issues?

LOL. Too many things funny about this post. First, "long term customer", 2nd, "most popular implants", 3rd "backorder".

    Thanks for the laugh.

So many things are funny about this.
What city is this "long term customer" in? What is thier name? What are the items on backorder?
Oh right the bs is always anonymous. Grow a set or just grow up.

I work for the company. No inventory of the MDL IN some sizes. Company has a really bad inventory management system the product line in the MDL mini implants is so broad that there is rarely the correct mix and sometimes there are extended back orders. Not sure if this is what pp is describing. As far as company shutting down, not sure. They don't seem to be selling anything in my area, not even the minis, which are mainly sold by a doctor named shatkin through his education events. Hemis the de facto distributor for the mini implants. He's in upstate NY, but lectures though out the northeast. He sells more of the MDL mini implants at his courses than all the reps combined. Selling though a distribution AND a direct sales force, no other implant company is dumb enough to do this but this one. Its something no one in management talks about.

Very difficult to get the very few implants we manage to sell. The worse thing is working for 6 months trying to convince a Dr to order a few of the Mini implants, then after he finally puts in his huge order for $300.00 we have to tell him there is a three week wait to get the products. FUCK.

Jeff, the scumbag who runs this company is probably one of the most inept, inexperienced people in the implant business. Constantly suing other companies and people, he can't seem to understand that in order to be successful you have to know when to cut your losses. Besides being inept, he is a racist and anti-family loner who will stop at nothing to try and harm others if he feels he has been violated. A failure in morals, a failure in business a failure in marriage and a failure in life. A role model and leader to no one. Keep up e good work Jeff.

I worked with him in the past. It does seem he kind of lives in his own cynical little one view world. He has never been successful or anything other than a solid below average business person. In any seriously competitive environment he would be eaten alive. I would make a guess the company he works for now is not very successful. This guy has been on downward spiral for many years.

This guy is a real piece of shit operator. Got shit canned from another implant company then begged this company to take him on as a last chance before he retires. Real scumbag.

Jeff's management style is almost schizophrenic. I don't know how he could have lasted in the industry this long and keep getting jobs. The company's current sales model using reps competing against doctor distributors is at best immoral and unethical but that certainly wouldn't dissuade Jeff. Happy Holidays to all that have been smart enough to see through him and distance themselves and good luck to those who haven't.

I interviewed with this company during the Greater NY meeting. After doing some research, some of which included this board I realized it probably was a bad career choice. Took a pass and a week later got an offer from the company I really was hoping I could work for. Lesson here is DONT be fooled by the sales pitch at the interview. Ask to see sales numbers for the territory, ask to speak or ride with other reps. If a company refuses it's for a reason.
Making the wrong decision on a career decision makes a huge impact on your life. Going to work for a terrible company like this one is short term, puts a blemish on your résumé and destroys your self esteem.

You have to wonder how a person like the above poster can know who an anonymous person is, and then be able to know what the future holds for that anonymous person.
I've seen better reasoning from a 5 year old. Looks like IL management is posting again.
