How do you capture TRXs from Pharmacies who do not report?

Do pharmacies report to W K every week? Physicians tell us that they have written our product, but when we get our weekly numbers from WK, more often than not, the scripts are not recorded. How do you collect information from pharmacies? Does every pharmacy report to WK every week?

Trx's are captured with data companies through claims data, the payer information. No company collects all Rx's, we capture a certain number and then project up. However, if a patient doesnt take the Rx to get filled, or it is filled with something else, than that obviously is not recorded. Plus there is typically a 30 day lag for the data. No company captures scripts from everywhere...it is ALWAYS projected. Typically mom and pop pharmcaies are the worst. The numbers are really off if a mom and pop is used. This is the way all pharma companies obtain data, so every other rep is in the same boat as you!

Thanks for the info...my company lives and dies with WK eLaunchtrac data...we are paid our bonuses only on what WK captures. And I know that every rep is in the same boat as i am...Thanks!

WK can't measure or track specialty mail. You need to use IMS for that

Thanks for the reply. Much appreciated! I heard though that Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy and CatalystRx do report to WK. Why the discrepancy with OptumRx?

This fraud of a company just let everyone know they've been over-stating their data by 20-25% since the inception of their audits. Oops, but it's really good now, yeah right. Can't wait to get an "integrated view" of your crap data. The only client they have left that is Valeant, that's reassuring!
