Layoffs Last Week

Question: Who in their right mind would want to work for your organization? You have a me-to product at best that you push for an Implant Direct price. The only reason you are in business is due to carefully selected Podium Support that when they leave, you have 0% market share. Not a good career move and you are 1 of the only Dental Implant Companies laying people off!

Welcome to the dying dental business. The current sales model is all but obsolete in all the implant companies. Like it or not Niz has it correct. Low overhead and Low prices. Dentists don't value you at all, you are in the way and a nuisance to a busy practice. You ARE the 21st century Willy Loman. Nobody likes you.

Ask yourself, can you be replaced by a customer service rep or an app ? Still think iPads are cool? Those expensive lunches and dinners and golf, etc. are all but over too. Finished. Done. OVER.

You field people are doomed. You are too expensive and much too inneficient. Your jobs are all unsafe at any speed.. Office Managers, don't get me started.

Broke every record in the company and then he decided to move on. Nothing left to accomplish.

 

You really have no idea what you are talking about. I am not going to get into specifics of what happened, however he was let go.

 

I heard the very same thing yesterday. 100% he was let go.

 

Take a look at the rep roster at Implant Direct...M5 is alive and selling for Niznick. So much for Dental School.

Any truth to the recent Nobel rumors? I thought it was Medtronic who was going to buy BH? WTH?

 

No- MDT will not be buying BH. Hadn't heard Nobel rumors- but one would have to ask what benefit NBC would derive from that acquisition. Customer base? No- they are trying to focus on specialists- not the GPs where BH has been successful. Product? No- they have an aging surface, ancient connection, and mediocre pros. Profitability? No- BH is still dependent on venture capital.

So what benefit would Nobel be looking for?

 

My guess would be credibility. BH has a ton of research behind them via Misch and is well respected in that regard. Nobel, not as much
