Who left? And why do you think more will?

    DM NY.

There will be more, and the new year will bring even more. That's just the way it is. Why would a generic company want sales reps for dying brands? Even all the co-pay cards haven't reversed the down trend. It's harvest time people.

True enough, but then why offer a retention bonus that goes up till June of 2013? That wouldn't make much sense either!

What makes you think anything said or offered now is written in stone. If the powers that be deem it is more cost-efficient to go a different direction and just harvest through non-personal programs, they won't do it? Think about it.

NY DM was a waste of time should have left along time ago. Amazing because he was here for awhile and when he left no one cared as you can see because no one even commented. Zero work ethic and afraid of his own shadow

Sounds like most of sales mgmt. They are all kiss-ups and p*ssies looking to save their own necks at the expense of their own people. Get over it.

    What's up with this?
    http://www.pharmalot.com/2012/12/amid-reorganization-sandoz-eliminates-100-jobs/

"As part of a reorganization, Sandoz is eliminating 104 jobs in the US, specifically from its New Jersey operations that are engaged in development and commercial activities, according to a spokeswoman, who confirmed some details from a state notice about the job cuts.

The cuts amount to 5 percent of the US workforce, which currently numbers more than 2,000, according to the spokeswoman for Novartis (NVS), which owns the Sandoz generic drugmaker. About 24,000 people work for Sandoz worldwide.

The spokeswoman says Sandoz is transferring some development work from its East Hanover, New Jersey, site to other locations, while also streamlining North American commercial operations. “We believe these changes will make us more competitive, and have identified several areas where we will simplify and reinvest, with a focus on strengthening the organization,” she says.

This is only the latest example of ongoing cutbacks in the pharmaceutical industry, notably among big brand-name drugmakers that have been grappling with patent expirations on big sellers and face generic competition. Novartis (NVS), for instance, announced plans earlier this year to eliminate 2,000 jobs in the US (back story)."

Are they moving R&D to Melville?

Get real. Now that JB is gone, there is no way Ralph would drive to Melville.
