Have you seen the people the brought over? They should call the company "one trick pony" because the only success any of these bozos have ever had was with one product. What is their pitch to oher companies? Well, we may have failed to drive revenue with these 10 products, but thanks to Parke-Davis and GSKwe sold a lot of Actos!!!
The pitch goes more like this. We are the people who started with nothing and built a 4 plus billion dollar franchise with a single product that we prayed would do a billion when we launched. We are the same people who took a company nobody knew about and made it one of the top revenue producing Pharma companies in the industry. We started from scratch and created an organization that employed more than 5000 people. Takeda also grew Niaspan prescriptions 48 percent in a single year within the targeted universe. We are those people. Wouldn't you like to work with us? I would rather work with Alan, Rich, Bill and Chria than 98 percent of the morons running around Pharma today. I hope they make it huge!
Wow! Niaspan, are you for real???? We built sales of Actos off of market decisions outside of our control.....Rezulin gets yanked we grow MS, Avandia gets a black box we benefit. What about all the other failed products? anyone can hire 5,000 employees,but where are they now? Most have been laid off......
Any news on this company yet? Did they get a contract? I know a lot of people ready to jump at a chance to work with the former "real" Takeda leaders.
I don't get it. People in management have been in place for a while now but there's no sales force? What are they getting paid to do?
Takeda should thank Dr. Nissen and the surreptitious liars at GSK for Actos' success. If Avandia is not discovered to have caused heart attacks, then Actos would still be the #2 selling TZD.
