Admin: Please move Nitromed to Lost Civilizations

As a former insider, I can definitely tell you that NitroMed and it's sole drug, BiDil, was sold off to another company as of December 2011.

They cease to exist as a company anymore, only FSC Labs is still clinging on for dear life at the same old location as NitroMed.

 

No need to move NitroMed. They will be back in 2013 with a new sales force for about 6 months to create some noise, and then oull out again. Hey, were you guys notified that the company had shut its doors on a conference call? Did they deactivate the Perk Points, stop insurance immediately, and cut off all communications to everyone in corporate? Did they say that Deerfield was the "new owner" when you interviewed? What did they tell you about the previous salesforce? You know that you guys were the forth ones, right? No need to delete this sight. NitroMed pops back up every 18 months with the same line but to new people.

 

Actually, you're dead wrong! NitroMed was SOLD outright to Arbor Pharma last year. They cease to exist, But BiDil lives on.

 

Please...been there done that...NitroMed is always "Sold" everytime tgey get rid of the sales force. Arbor Pharma is the front office and investors of NitroMed. Do your research!!!!! My boys are doing it again!!!! Next stop-new sales firce. Only need. promotion for 6 monthd and ride on the noise it has recreated the other 18 moyhs. Get rid of the sales force. Tell them that the company has been "Sold." The are too dumb to read their financial letters so they don't know that the next company's name has always been in existence and they are the same board of directors. So we take thesame trip, the same way, Again!

You guys REALLY are clueless, huh? Nitromed was (past tense) a small start up company most recently based out Charlotte, NC (same physical location as FSC Labs). They were under the control of Deerfield Management, A Healthcare Investment Fund.

A VERY sinister thing was done that NONE of the reps were told about from 2009/2010-2011. Reps were hired for the SOLE purpose of getting BiDil Sales on the radar screen, so that it could be sold to ANOTHER company.

Enter Arbor Pharma, who already had a CV drug and agreed to buy BiDil and most of the reps (other companies were approached, but wanted the drug ONLY and NOT the reps).

End Result: Nitromed was dissolved, Deerfield made a TON of $$, most ex-NitroMed reps were bumped over to Arbor (A second rate small start up company which should have been aborted from the ungodly womb which gave birth to it).

To the smacked ass who said he/she still works at Nitromed...who's your DM and what territory do you have?...LOL

Glad you're impressed. However, what I stated in post#6 IS factual.

Go to Arbor Pharma's website and you will see that BiDil is listed as one of their promoted products.
