No one from HR works in the FP office. HR only shows up there to hand out pink slips. HR is a Melville disaster.
please name all the pharma companies takeda owns that are in northern nj. I know Bradley is one of them. does Nycomed still have offices in NJ? Thanks
In the beginning, there was Altana, bought by Nycomed global who was divided as global & US division. US bought Pharmaderm and then Bradley which became part of the Pharmderm division. Then, Takeda bought Nycomed Global from the European investors. Then there was only Nycomed US...which was renamed Fougera Pharmaceuticals. The Euro investors then sold Fougera to the Markinson/Bailey crew. In one year, that group sold Fougera to Novartis and it is now part of the Sandoz division. Is your head spinning yet? There is no Nycomed in NJ and Takeda does not own Bradley....at least for today. SMH
Thank you for this - but oh my head is spinning. Isn't there a Bradley pharma office on Rt. 46 in Fairfield?
There used to be a Nycomed office in Princeton NJ when Nycomed first took over the diagnostic imaging business from Sterling Drug/Winthrop in 1994 (I think they moved to Princeton in 1995 or 1996). When the merger with Amersham took place in 1998 or so, a couple years later the Norwegian managers of Nycomed's pharma business took over the pharma business and kept the Nycomed name. Amersham sold out to GE in 2003. I realize that the Nycomed business today (whoever owns it) is not the Nycomed I knew in the mid-90s, but those were some of the best years of my pharma/med sales career, so the name Nycomed has a soft spot in my heart. Until the idiots and wanna-be GE manager-a-trons took over.
