PJ used to be called Doogie Howzer at CardioDynamics--pissant little know-it-all. We all used to make fun of him. Ah, good times. All in good fun. Seems like you Masimo guys fear and loathe him now. Too bad. Go ahead, call him Doogie and see how he reacts!

Hey HHL - what happened to your out of control, curse filled posting? Did the censors remove it? Remember, this was the posting in which you told everyone how clever you were by pretending to be a person who can't write English well ("chinese").

HHL bring news, friends. The last VP of HR, SR, was so feared by management, she was escorted from building, and top managers get emails to report seeing her on campus, so security can be called. Why, is she dangerous? HHL think that no, not. SR is seasoned executive. Joe fears SR can get Masimo in trouble with law for him trying to do illegal things like undeclared layoff and taking away healthcare. Need someone who has "earned trust and confidence" in HR leadership. HR department now mostly new people less than one year.

P.S. - HHL does not post anonymous, PJ, but convenient trick to insult all anonymous by HHL moniker.

P.P.S. - Only few people read CP. But you argue. Not look well for next company to do research on you, when troll is you.

What makes you think that other companies do research?

Because the FDA REQUIRES research and demands to see the raw data of the research!! EU and other countries may not require it but any medical device company which wants U.S. release must pass FDA. Dumbas*!!!

Look at the context, dumbass. He was asking what makes you think companies do research on Cafepharma prior to hiring someone? Most of this is mindless drivel anyway!

Love how anonymous is referring to he in the third person, even though it's obvious that anonymous is also he. But yeah, I agree with anonymous.he. That last guy can't read or something.

Let's cut to the chase HHL. Your are upset that you are not as succesful as PJ. He makes a lot of money, is an executive VP, is young and smart. You on the other hand live in a world of obscurity and non-relevance and you know it. Therefore, you take out your frustrations in cafepharma.

This is the second time obviously insecure PJ recites his resume. Thanks for the reminder, we forget quickly from other bad impressions. Reread your quote.

have any more details regarding the events leading up to SR's departure? I have heard some things repeated by people regarding this that are frankly too Ludacris to believe. if what is being said is false she has real grounds for a slander lawsuit.

Don't know the details, but here's one: I sit close enough to HR to occasionally hear what goes on when I get things off the printer. SR was made to go to an employee (don't know who) who had already gotten a bonus check direct deposited, stating a mistake was made, it should have been one tenth of what it was, and the mistake amount must be paid back. In other words, give us 90% of that bonus money back. The employee refused, threatened to sue, and got a phone call from Joe. Now neither SR nor that other employee is with the company.

that is kind of a strange story. Were they trying to take back the bonus that was allotted or did they just over pay the allotted bonus bye a factor of 10?I would think it would have to be the former because who in their right mind would think they could keep money that was paid to them accidentallI also get the sense that there are a lot of silent layoffs going on. I know Joker swears up and down that masimo is not going to let anyone off as a cost saving measure because of this medical tax thing but I trust him as far as I can throw him and I have a bad shoulder.

They have already laid individuals off as a cost saving measure because of the med dev tax - the entire department of Project Management. Cost-saving measures (employee layoffs) are still occurring at a case by case basis (individual positions). I can't reveal my source, unfortunately, because it could then be blocked.

Additionally, there are several more stories floating around about SR's departure. Such rumors include a magnitude of fraud reaching heights of ludicrousness that make those that hired SR look moronic and amateurish and an unethical non-disclosure by SR that would be grounds for firing at any corporation. Who knows if either is true.

It is a bizarre story but it is absolutely true. This person was given 50% of target bonus and then was told it was supposed to be 5%. No one would have thought this was an overpayment.
