Could not agree more...I strongly agree....you are correct....LMFAO. You really think no one sees the same tired pattern you engage in when you talk to yourself? The wording is practically cut and paste from one thread to the next. The pattern is as follows: you make a declarative statement. Next comes one of your sock puppets saying ' I couldn't agree more...' Then it's 'I strongly agree' then it's 'you are correct'. Curious, do you have Auspergers syndrome or is it a Meth habit? You DO post at some highly unusual hours. At least you learned to post these responses a day apart. Previously they were all within 15 minutes of each other. Really sad.....

Not long before a new product in Neuvenge?? WTF? Neuvenge went into phase 2 in 2008. It was put on hold until after the 09/2011 fiasco and currently isn't scheduled to complete until 2016. Assuming it passes, then there is a much larger study in the form of phase 3 that will take a great deal of time given all the test subjects. Assuming phase 3 goes to completion and passes with no hitches then time is needed to devise a BLA strategy, meet with the FDA to reach and agreement on filing strategy ( PMP meetings, PDUFA, CMC, implementations, waiting on stability data etc). If everything goes off without a hitch, don't expect approval until the 2020s. Since its not even through phase 2, stating that neuvenge is imminent for the market isn't wildly optimistic, it's outright false even with a best case scenario.

You have heard of "fast-track" approval. Expect Nuvenge to get such treatment because of the success of Provenge. 2016 full approval is likely.

I know of fast track, but Dendreon's own projections place the end of phase 2 at 2016. I hope you're right. I really do. If the drug proves to be effective it would benefit many people and give DNDN a much needed boost.

I see many different statements concerning the work environment ( good vs bad) that I'm not sure who to believe.

I can add my observations having worked there, but I was not in sales/marketing. Lest anyone decide to be sarcastic and say I was janitorial staff, I worked in the quality unit. My experience was that I had a toxic manager ( I later discovered she had put everyone in the group on a PIP. It was only a matter of time I got there). I could tell you horror stories about what she did to an employee who, through, no fault of his own, had an accident and needed to go on disability for a short amount of time even though he offered ( and followed through) to do work from home.

    But I digress...

I believed my experience to be a one off as I saw no such problems with the quality unit as a whole. Most seemed happy and engaged. I give this last example to show that, at the time, Dendreon was extremely responsive to such problems. I started detailing a list of all the abuses this manager was doing and documenting dates and times. I told my coworkers none of this. I went to HR and filed a complaint. The director ( a great, hard working person who enjoyed what she was doing) called in my co workers and asked if our manager was doing xyz (xyz being my list of complaints). They stated that indeed (blank) was doing/had done all of these things. Our director called our manager on the carpet and ended up putting our manager on a PIP. At that time and within that unit bad behavior seemed to be a one off and Dendreon acted quickly to resolve the problem.

Once again, this is just my experience and I'm not in marketing and sales. I'm not trying to invalidate other people's complaints or validate the effusive statements about what a great place at which to work. For all I know all of these statements are valid. The company has many different groups and personalities.

Unfortunately, even after the issues in my group were resolved the whole group, over a couple off months, left. We were all struck by the bad taste in your mouth experience.

I don't know what it's like now. Maybe it's better. Maybe not. I just wanted to attempt to stand back and give a more objective view.
