Yes, they (members of the old local Graceway Management) have been in the building several times in the last few months and that is the rumor going on........

 

I guess that will be yet another endeavor that they will run into the ground.

If "smart" is defined as someone doing a half assed job and then losing that job as the company goes bankrupt, then, yes, you are smart. Congrats on your smartness.

Has "Rockward" obtained a product yet? They were fortunate enough to retain G.J for business development purposes, surely they can't be too far away from having a blockbuster product!

 

I was flyin out of Tricities today and happened to "spy" a former Exton person, coincidence? unlikely. I don't think he "spied" me, doubt he would have known me anyway.

 

Don't be talking smack about DQ - their blizzards are so good - I remember when was at GW I used to stop and have blizzards all the time, now looking back I should have made more sales calls.

I keep hearing that they are still looking at products, but my guess is they are milking the money fronted to them by GTCR and taking it easy...

 

The only reason Graceway went bankrupt is that they instituted a two drink maximum for the sales reps and sales management. How in the world is a sales rep supposed to detail wart cream sober? How can the sales and marketing group get the ides train flowing if the tap is closed? Graceway was poised for success getting the dynamic product line that Chester Valley had amassed, and the business talent that had amassed it. LMAO!

You posters couldn't keep a job at a Dairy Queen. You would sell $10 dollars of DQ deliciousness before clocking out for a 10 drink (each), 3 bottle of wine, $2,000 dinner. On day two you stumble into the office still drunk from dinner and call an emergency meeting with the DQ owner to present your plan for a two week sales meeting on Bunga Raya Island. You would say that it is critical to take all DQ sales staff for a two week launch meeting to teach them how to sell vanilla ice cream in a cone that is slightly bigger than the vanilla cone you already sell. Before you are able to educate the stupid owner he would fire you for leaving 30 minutes into your shift the day before and deny your expense report for dinner.
