You can't use clinical reprints ?

our device company has mandated that sales can no longer provide clinical reprints to surgeons because they are a thing of value that must be tracked under the sunshine act. Is anyone else seeing this enacted?

 

So track them. For crying out loud. Your company should load them from your Kiosk into the call reporting system which is tied to your expensing and compliance systems. Then you just check a damn box. How many docs want to read a clinical anyway? You show it to them. You talk about it. They ask an off label question that goes to medical affairs. You bring him back to some agreement and close. You leave with your reprint as he would just pile it on his desk anyway.
