No way to better sabotage a sale of a company than run it into the ground!

Still not sure that anyone from Novartis...i mean HQ is actually working.

I also can't believe that Brett came here - was he a package deal with the deaddog product?

 

Brett is here based on his ties into Phila plus his time at Allergan. Not sure why someone of his caliber would come in for a year or two as it could be a career ender but money speaks louder than common sense. He should have stayed at GSK as I know he was well respected.

Yes the bonus plan does suck which is why great reps are leaving , interviewing and trying to get out... Not worth the micromanagement for the ic plan to just keep dwindling every quarter... How much did the "leadership" team make in bonus last year? You didn't do jack. The sales force did... Keep spending round table partners money... And screw the little people ...

 

Bigger question is what are you getting when Craig sells the company? I know HQ has a solid Change of Control package which is available to mgmt., but not Reps. Many HQ employees will never have to work again while we will have to get by on unemployment checks. Makes me wonder why we are all still working for this guy.

 

There is never a time to wonder, only a time to accept the Aqua delivery system. Obviously, your universe is clogged with stuff that makes your existence difficult. Strive for peace by letting your path be uncluttered and accept the direction you must go. This is the real key to happiness and success.

 

Ummm it's called America and when you build a company you have the right to sell it ... Duh?? He has every right.. plus its not really his descion anymore its the private firm that owns us... I'm honestly not concerned about us being sold... No one would buy us... I'm more concerned about making money. The comp plan sucks! Fix it! Do you not see that good people are leaving because you are making it harder and harder to make money... ? We are in sales to make money... We drive sales... Pay us and stop taking vacation and personal time away... Very de-motivating to reps... VERY... Maybe you guys should VALUE your reps more... Happy rep= productive rep

 

All you had to do was speak to a Rep from Novartis and you would see that this is the Novartis approach as well. What did you think was going to happen when we became the son of Novartis? Reps are treated like a commodity and are easily traded in for a new one. Sorry but it will only get worse.

 

It does not matter whether you are a son or daughter. The only thing that matters is being in line with your universe. I disagree - my rep is beautiful and has learned to "Stop,drop & blow on demand" She also cleans up nicely afterwards
