    Is this HR?
Sad to read that people feel that they are better off after being out of Amgen, good for the people ... not so good for Amgen!

This company absolutely does not give a shat about their employees. If someone is dealing with a long term illness, HR is right there ready to get rid of them. While my departure from Amgen was not my decision, I'm not upset it happened. My emotional and physical health mean so much more to me than any paycheck they could give me. Funny thing, I don't begrudge the company. There are way too many megalomaniacs working in the positions of director and ED who aren't even remotely qualified and they have the power to make an employee's life miserable. I'm still trying to figure out how one goes from senior associate to director in 6 years...?? Anyway, I haven't found a job yet, which is a bit stressful, but not nearly as stressful as going to Amgen every day and never knowing what the micromanagement team I dealt with would have to complain about on any given day.
