Seems the only current lawsuit is an action initiated by Intra Lock against Denitium implants which is another virtually unknown implant company based in Korea. Apparently a intra-lock believes the Koreans infringed their drive lock patent. At the end of the day it's a small potato action, that will throw some money in some lawyers pockets but not make any difference to either company. Between the two companies they represent next to nothing market share. So they are arguing an wasting resources fighting over something that has very little value. Absolutely ridiculous. But expected.

You forgot a few important worse of class categories - worse training, bottom of the barrel inside customer support for both customers and sale. Worse pay plan BY FAR - paid 1x a month. Up to two months for expense reimbursement. Horrendous, amateurish marketing pieces and best of all by far they show you a video of a corn kernel with a science teacher type announcer from the 1950's, and compare the layers of a kernel of corn to their implant. Completely bizarro, irrelevant and just creepy. So out of touch with their customers they believe a rep showing a corn kernel video will motivate a dr to buy an u known, unproven, barely used implant. Yep that's how they do it.

It's a comical company to watch. Seems always something not quite right going on.
I interviewed by phone and then ignored all calls for follow up. Could not understand the sales manager's accent. I m grateful to know I made the right choice now that I have been researching and keeping an eye out.

Yes you did the right thing. This outfit would lie to you about the position and then several months later fire you because you didn't sell. They fail to tell you no one is able to sell because the product, marketing, reputation, customer service, return policy, payment terms and clinical procedure all make the product unsaleable. Very poor company. The guy you couldn't understand he's the best they have and he sucks - he's probably the worse person I have ever worked with since my days in college working at a fast food joint. No BS. Congrats that you passed on this abortion.

This is the Chakrun Prf course gown by dr chakrun, reps don't sell this product. No one buys it anyway. They go to the course and then use their own centerfuse to make the membranes without buying anything from Intra-lock. Another example of hoe inept this co is.

There is detailed instructions on Dentaltown on how to use an existing centerfuge and a makeshift draining box to make these membranes. No need to purchase anything for this procedure.

I recently had the opportunity to meet one the reps from this company. I was amazed at the level on incompetence this person possessed. To be expected from a third tier company like this. A few years ago you could start an imlant company and after a few years sell it to private equity or a major player. Now I see no market for these rinky dink companies.

Is market share still at .001%. By the way bravo for being so busy that you have the time to post fantasies about the implant company that you wished you worked for. Dumb ass redneck.

As was the case with many mom and pop implant companies that thought they were going to purchased in a multi million dollar venture capital deal, this shit show is still lanquishing. One hundred percent turnover, no growth, and the same confusing marketing message. At what point do they just realize there is no huge buy out, no successing competing with the large multinationals, and that they are just a fourth tier implant company ripe for doctors to exploit. "My study club is doing a program, we'd love to have your company sponser it....."

They should just stay within their niche of the mini implants and stop trying to compete in the mainstream implant market. If they did that they could possibly be a market leader. Greed and overambition took its toll here. Any first year marketing student knows you can't compete directly with large market leaders, so you compete in niches that the market leaders don't control. After you have dominated that niche you expand into new markets. I don't think this co. has a majority marketshare in the mini implant market, but they foolishly decide prematurely to expand. You have to question the competency of management.

Thomman implants, another non differentiated late comer is on life support they just fired the us and European CEOs for non performance. Keystone/Southern implants is operating on a skeleton crew with no marketing no promotional activities as they pray for a buyer to come save them from themselves. This Intra-lock operation is in the same boat. No marketing, no differentiation, no real story to tell. If there actually were venture capital companies looking to get into the implant business they would have a lot of bad choices of companies to choose from.
If you look at Nobels and Straumans latest annual reports both report a flat overall market for implants over the next several years. This means any competitor has to win marketshare at the expense of the existing major players. Doubtful a small poorly funded, inexperienced management team selling an undifferentiated implant will ever make a dent in straumann, Nobel, 3i or even MIS marketshare. It's a foolish business plan.
