I heard that we are down by 30-35% and still dropping.

"What's really odd is that you know that sample count is going up! You are clearly from corporate and trying to feed a load of BS."

From the lab actually. I don't deny that there were some weaker leaders at the top, but things appear to be turning around for the better.

When it comes to sample count historically, we are down. We were down about 30% of our historical urine specimen count early in the year. But the past few months we were only down about 15% or less... and the past few weeks we are averaging about 5% less... but sometimes receiving 100% or more of our historical specimen count. So things are definitely on the upswing in that department.

Reimbursement from clients is another part of that equation I don't know about, but assume/hope it is decent because the doors are still open.

Sure, it sucks that the AEs are not paid as well as they used to be or that they are tracked via cellphones big brother style. However, it appears that there is new talent that is happy to do these things at the reduced rate.

I'm just trying to put out some facts when everyone is talking about "how great we are and how we were the smart ones that left." It seems it was for the better business-wise that you left. We are replacing with new AEs that are bringing samples back in the doors as well if not better than the old team of AEs.

Specimen volume doesn't matter, reimbursement per specimen is what counts! So don't get sooo excited when volume increases.

True, but it sounds like reimbursement is better than in the past. I do not recall the hard numbers, that's why I said I hope/assume it is in fact good. Trust me, I know that is wishful thinking.

Specimen volume is steady- each is around 6 ounces. Half a beer
