There is a reason that all the talented reps leave this company. Define tenure in this company... Good or bad rep, you will either get smart and find a better opportunity with a better company culture... Or get caught in one of the regular layoffs this company puts you through. My advice as a former shionogi rep is this. Do your job and do it as proficient as the company structure will Allow, but if you have any amount of experience there are plenty of higher paying, more stable(even in pharma terms) gigs out there. It's unfortunate the way this company does their people. Lots of good people have been lost because upper management changes, leaves, gets fired etc. and the reps are the ones who pay.

 

AMEN BROTHER! Shionogi has terrible culture and is clearly a third rate pharmaceutical company.

John is the issue and problem at this company. A poor marketing leader and now he is in sales leadership? This industry is more effed up by the day. You have NO respect from anyone dude.

 

Wrong. John is much better than most at his level in this industry. He fights for the sales force and does the right thing. If you have a problem with John, you haven't been around the industry very long.

 

Actually John I have been around a looong time and most here know you now and way back, You are a pathetic leader. Stop posting on urself dude. Ur the only one who has respect for urself lazy arse.
