It simple guys, our leader, the fearless Harvey B is a con man.
His poor antics and lack of ethics have dropped this company to the toilet. Eventually his luck ran out, and unfortunately he has taken our careers and the income on which we sustain our families with him.
    We are F'd....

Ariad will not "close the doors". The company will continue to sell its product and earn 100MM or more. Now, with that being said, the current alignment of the sales force and marketing teams will need to be closely shaved.

Some of the turds will remain, but most will go down the drain. The big dogs have already squeaked their millions out earlier in the year.

Considering the financial situation of Ariad, how could they pay a severance? One thing is for sure, they are going to be hurting for cash flow and this can only come from one place, the sales team.

Without a product why would another company be interested?

On the conference call Harvey mentioned they would make a decision by November.

Novartis will buy you guys and save Iclusig for just the T315I mutation. Thats what the new FDA labeling will be. Ariad is doomed!

    Kaboom!!!

No severance, and an uninteresting future - why would any professional sales rep stay?

Best put it down to a quick career blip and move on.

Please, Novartis are smarter than that - this drug is tarnished and will be the ultimate last resort for those patients willing to gamble on the tox.

Recruiters are calling us already. Companies want reps that take risks and opportunities to enhance their careers. If it all ends today we made lots of cash in a short time. Sure we would want the stock to pay off, but who cares we didnt pay for it. How many of the bitter reps on cp made 100K in two quarters? Stay in your "safe" spot for years and years and sell the "same drug" day after day, while the rest of us take on new opportunities.
