Clay Cockrell and Ameripath Dallas Split

Does any one have information about why of the split and where the specimens went to?

 

Cockerell and his associates left Ameripath/Quest in July 2013 and formed his own Dallas based dermatopathology laboratory named Cockerell Dermatopathology. The company is thriving from what I hear.

 

How did he manage to get out of the non-compete? Why would Ameripath allow him to do it?

 

Non-compete can't stop people from Loving Clay. You can't stop love.....

 

Non-competes are difficult to enforce on docs, nurses, & other healthcare providers.
