Personal credibility / switching companies in Coloradp

    Disclosure: I know the parties involved but am not affiliated with them,other than the fact that I am a smaller market share competitor.

    Long time MITEK rep Leaves and goes to Arthrex.Leaves Arthrex and may go to Smiths and Nephew.How much self worth does this rep have and how is this persons credibility looked at in the territory? Would any of you make three moves in one year? Does the. I keep getting screwed story become less believable ? How long before the new company screws them?
    Truthfully,I never had the guts to hop around,I know I do not make the big time dollars like some but I sleep good.Please keep it real here.we all have products that work.

    We are all free agents more power to him if this "veteran" rep improves his compensation/position in the market place. Personally, I would recommend his next move be his own distributorship.

    I agree with #2 post sounds like this guy jumped to arthrex,converted all his accounts from mitek and caught the attention of smith and nephew who are offering this guy a distributorship to lead a team to do the deal again.Makes sense but if it's just a sales move there may be a credibility issue if they call on the same accounts. I have moved around a bit and wish I stayed where I was.hope they get good advice.

    Heard 2 reps left a great gig with Mitek,totally screwing the distributor.Lured to Arthrex by their sales manager,over promised many things,got unhappy with new Arthrex distributor .one going to Lincoln Neb and the other looking at big orange.lead guy was makin 225-250k with Mitek.........he will never get there again .Hosed one group/hosed by one group.... Karma baby

    You just described Arthrex in a nutshell. Over promise and under deliver. This is why Arthrex is quickly becoming the most hated company in the industry.

    The Regional Manager for Arthrex in Colorado made a huge mistake by getting rid of Helm Surg. The termination of this distributor will eventually come back to bite Arthrex in the ass as will many others.

    Most of Geminis people that were with helm are currently looking for other options.Wait till vail finds out that their rep is just waiting around for a video pop then he is moving on.

    That makes sense. Denver and Minneapolis are separated by only about 900 miles. A short trek, similar in distance from Naples to Nashville.

    What's wrong with the distributor change in Vail? Let me guess, commission cuts, charge backs, and take it or leave it mentality.
