CMS released the proposed 2014 fee schedule on Wed Night - Happy Thanksgiving People! Pathology will not be reimbursed separately in Outpatient Hospital Procedures or Surgery Center Procedures. Instead there will be a bundled payment included in the facility fee.
If the Hosp owns - jointly owns - or has a 8% , 5% whatever stake - which is many in the ASC it could have an impact - Also IHC got a HUGE CUT ! - How does this not impact you?
